This beat is on an extremely picturesque reach of the River Lyvennet, (one of our many limestone tributaries). Good for otter sightings and home to the rare white clawed crayfish and of course some good sized, though elusive brown trout.
The landowner’s son pulled a two and a half pounder form the depths last season.
